Graduate Fellowship 2006-2007

The duration of the fellowship is from September 2006 through August 2007 and consists of total stipend in the amount of $19,500 plus university tuition and the health services fee. Fellows are expected to devote 75% of their fellowship time to their own research and studies, and 25% (a maximum of 8 hours per week averaged over the year) to outreach activities in science education for K-12 teachers and students throughout Rhode Island.

Fellowship Requirements:

• A U.S. Citizen
• A graduate student who is beyond the first but before the final year of graduate school
• In any field of science, math, or engineering
• Research interests must be space-related
